Text Box: It is Caesars arrogance, 
due of his position of power, 
that leads to his vulnerability and 
downfall. Caesars love of popularity enables him to ‘play’ with the Roman crowd –manipulating them into accepting him as their leader. He does this by exercising his nobility; refusing the crown offered to him by Antony, three times, then offering his throat to cut and falling down in an epileptic fit. Each time he refuses the crown, the crowd shouts and claps and after he recovers from his fit he asks if he has said or done anything amiss and dismissed it to his epilepsy
