The
Chevalier Resource Centre is on a hillside alongside the Sacred Heart Monastery,
at
1 Roma Ave, Kensington. Many
bus routes serve the area. It is 10 minutes by bus from the CBD. The
centre was
formerly St Paul's Seminary for late vocations and has been used by the Catholic
bishops of Australia and numerous other groups for their annual conferences. The
rooms are comfortable, each with one single bed. It is a BYO venue. A
drawback is that, for the Irish Language Winter School, the number of beds is limited. They will be allotted on a first-come,
first-served principle. Early booking is essential. We
expect a number of visitors from interstate: many who have supported
Summer and Winter schools in NSW, South Australia and Victoria in the past, as
well as some new friends.
From Belmore Park, opposite Central Station, you can take any bus going to the University of New South Wales and Randwick Racecourse via Anzac Parade.
