Finally Got It Ranch's Kokomo
Kokomo is a 36" dapple gray Pinto, AMHR. He is expecting 2 foals in the fall. When we first baught him, we were told by the previous owner that he had never been ridden, he had been primarily a stud horse. About two days after we had him here, My husband decided to see how he would act with our daughter on his back. Amazingly, she got right on him and walked around the backyard several times at the end of a lead rope as if he'd been doing it for years! Soon after that, we were able to remove the lead rope altogether and walk in front of him with our daughter on his bare back...no bridle, no saddle, no worries! He follows us all over the yard. Wherever we walk, he follows. One of our favorite things to do is let Kokomo in the family room to watch TV with us. He just stands there in the airconditioned house as if he owns the place. My husband has a recording studio with a slick, wood floor and sometimes Kokomo will venture off to that room. But, as soon as his hoofs hit the slick floor he gets a little worried about falling and backs out carefully to go inspect another part of the house.
