Sea Lions live in the Pacific
Ocean with each sub-species dominating a region. The Californianus Sea Lions range
at the west coast of Mexico to the
shores of British Columbia, Canada. The Wollebaeki are found exclusively on the Galapagos
Islands of Ecuador. The Japonicus Sea Lions are found in the Sea of Japan but are
now most likely extinct. Many Sea Lions are hurt today by the over extraction
of fish in their habitats relinquishing their food source. Also Sea Lions are
being destroyed by poisonous toxins being released in the oceans of today.
