The Sims Fanatics Community
Welcome to my little Sims Site, I am Rougue & happy to have you here! This is a free downloads site featuring all sorts of objects for the Sims 1(TS1). I promise you one thing - though I may not create objects for the Sims forever, this site will never close. I use a free domain with plenty of space - so while you may have to deal with some of those annoying pop-ups, you will always have access to my objects.
The Sims Fanatics Community started out as a single Yahoo Group - over time I ran out of room in one, and had to create a 2nd Yahoo Group - and of course recently came the newest addition to the SFC - the Sims Fanatics Community Adult yahoo group. With all these groups & my constant object design obsession, I've decided to finally go ahead and create my own TS1 Site!
Of course my group member's always come first - before I release objects into this site, they will be released to member's of my SFC groups first. So if you want to be one of the first people to get the new creations, your very welcome to join my groups!
Updates
January 12th, 2007: Time for another quick update....I am absolutely exhausted of Angelfire - the entire site will be moved to 250free.com - I'm hoping to have it entirely finished by the end of this weekend. Angelfire continues to shut down pages for no good reason. When I question them about why they are closing certain pages, their responses (when they respond at all) are pretty lame excuses. I've broken no TOS rules, there's nothing illegal on this site and technical difficulties would not shut down just 1 page (and it happens to be the same page everytime) - it would shut down their entire site. I'm in the process right now of moving all the zoo animals to the new site - it should be completed within an hour or two. With this new site, there should never be any problems with being shut down for no reason.
There's a few new things uploaded to the groups as well - to group 1 The Elegance In Ivory Kitchen Set - the set is not entirely completed yet - I've been uploading pieces as they are finished & tested.
To group 2 The Boy's Sports Bedroom - which includes a single bed, night table, baseball clock, curtains, sports lamp & 3 rugs. In addition, 3 new rug sets - which include the Wrought Iron Black Set, Wrought Iron Burgundy Set & the Palm Walk Rug Set.
There will be more very soon! The Forum is set to open tomorrow afternoon. I will provide you with the url to the forum tomorrow - where in addition to having some chatty fun, you can get some new gifts. Happy Simming!
January 2nd, 2007: Happy New Year Everyone! How odd it is to be typing out 2007! Just a quicky update - Angelfire seemed to have had some server issues today, which caused all sites using angelfire or tripod as their host to be MIA. But the servers are working again. None-the-less, I thought it would be a wise idea to create a mirror site, just in case. And the website I got is incredible - 250mb space & bandwidth -which I'm actually considering using as the main site - soon as its finished up. Only drawback of this new host, is there's no way to upload via ftp client - or if there is, I hadn't figured it out yet - so having to write everything out in word, then copy and paste everything I written in word to the site brower, then having to upload zips & pictures only 10 at a time to this new site takes quite some time. The url to the new site is http://simsfanatics.250free.com/ - your welcome to peak in - but keep in mind I only have the main page, build section, & decoration section completed. If I have time tomorrow I'll try to get the rest up along with new stuff as I do each page.
December 31th, 2006:Hello everyone! My internet is finally running normally again - silly me, I spent 3 or so days blaming my dsl provider for the slow service - and wouldn't you know it, when I could no longer take it, I decided to try resetting my modem - and just like that its back to normal! Now that its back to normal I was finally able to figure out the cause of my problems with my zoo animals page - and managed to fix it - plus add some additional animals to it - including 2 panda bears, 4 ferrets, 4 flamingos, 4 baby elephants, and 2 kangaroos!
Now that my internet is normal again, I also be finally able to upload the rest of the items from 2006 to the website and begin the groups off fresh for 2007!
Today is also the final day of the 31 Days of Christmas Project in the gifts group - those of you who were a part of it, I hope you all enjoyed it! The items will remain in the group until I have time to move them here - so your welcome to still join to grab the items, and also stay a member of the group for future holiday goodies & special SFC gifts.
Val and I are just about ready to launch the SFC Forum! The forum itself is completed - and decorated beautifully thanks to Val! Val will be away for the next couple of days, but a day or two after she returns we will have the Grand Opening all set for you all! We hope you'll join us in our new forum and have loads of fun there! I will provide you with the url to the forum in a couple of days!

December 27th, 2006:Another quick update - I don't know whats going on with the Zoo animals page - Angelfire is driving me nuts today! On top of that my internet is running very slow so I may not have a chance to repair the zoo animals page today. However I will be loading up all the animals into 1 or 2 large rar files and uploading them to the SFC Archivies Group - which you can join here: http://groups.yahoo.com/group/sfc_archives/ - and you can find pictures of the animals here: http://smg.photobucket.com/albums/v224/Petpetagency/Sims%20Zoo/ - once my internet speeds up back to normal, I will repair the zoo animals page.
Last night I've also uploaded some additional walls to the walls section of the site - some that I forgotten to upload to the website a while back and decided instead just to upload them directly to the site - those walls include some exterior walls & bedroom walls.
To group 1, this morning I started uploading part of the Elegance In Ivory Kitchen set - the set is not nearly complete - but feel free to download the pieces that are already available. Also several days ago I've uploaded some add on windows & doors to the Birch Wood Build Set.
New to
The 31 days of Christmas Project is going strong in the gifts group - the final day is Decemember 31st - so there's still plenty of time to join and grab some new Christmas & Winter creations! Sometime in January I will move the 2006 Christmas project items to this website - I'm not sure when, but until then they will continue to be available in the gifts group.

December 26th, 2006: Hello everyone! Just a tiny quick update to you all. I've just finished updating the walls & floors section of the site. Changed around the Walls section a tiny bit - by separating the walls into different pages by room rather then continuing to keep everything on 1 page. There's quite a few new walls uploaded to the site, and some new floors. Later in the week I will be adding in more new thing to the website & give you a proper update as to what's new in its entirety in the Sims Fanatics Community site & groups. December 12th, 2006: Hello everyone! A little update for you - the website has been updated this morning. I've added in the Halloween & Thanksgiving items, the "high roofs" to the red brick build set, my first two food creations - the Tray of Cheeses & Cream Puffs, & a bunch of new items to the Pagan Theme Section.
