Stephen & Elisabeth in England

Thank you, Bank Holiday Monday!
Mood:  happy
Topic: Elisabeth's Entries
My father left us this morning after a lovely visit. Last night we went to the PROMs to see Mozart's Requiem and thoroughly enjoyed it.

If you're interested, read this article by George Monbiot on the linkage between the incease in childhood mental illness, with the increase of GDP.

Willy Loman Syndrome

It's been a very relaxing bank holiday from work, and I'm actually please to say that it's 4 day working week with no plans for this weekend (other than Stephen having to work).

Cette semaine: Bon Voyage Aout!

I stumbled upon your blog this afternoon and found it quite interesting! Where in England do you live?
My husband and I have visited several areas there in the past and long to see it again! We absolutely loved trapesing around the countryside there. It is so beautiful.
We loved the Cotswolds and the area around Burton-On-the-Water and also Hunstanton was quite nice.
I am actually usually at work at this time of day but am home recovering from surgery, so I decided to get on the old computer.
Please do write back and let us know how old England is faring and about the area in which you live!
till then,katherine

Welcome aboard. It's always nice when people de-lurk.

We're stuck in Woking, Surrey (Crap town #21) and have yet to travel too much due to being incredibly poor - feel free to travel back in time and experience some of our turmoils - though now we're not-poor and hope to be heading to those places you mentioned. I have very good childhood memories or travelling around north Wales.

And good luck with the recovery... it strikes me it's the hardest part of any illness as the light at the end of the tunnel is in sight and you just can't wait to get there.
