Stephen has just eaten an apple in one bite. A whole apple. He just put it into his mouth and ate core, pips, stem and all.

But why? We'll never know.

I used to put whole apples (sore, seeds, stem...everything) into my juicer to make homemade fruit juices, until my husband told me that there are trace amounts of arsenic in apple seeds. I don't know if he was teasing me, but it freaked me out! LOL!

PS. He did say the amount was so minimal that it wouldn't kill a person to ingest little amounts of it, but that's why dogs can't eat apple cores (I think that's what he said). So, is hubby yanking my chain? (I'm too lazy to Google search right now).
