Hi Sean!
Haven't seen you around here for a while. In short; no, they don't celebrate Hallowe'en the same here as back home. That wasn't our pumpkin either. It was the only carved pumpkin we saw beyween our place & the town center. Kids are, in theory, supposed to go trick or treating but none do because no one has candy in their homes. Instead teens egg and toilet paper houses (FACT: Asda, owned by Walmart BANNED people under 18 from buying eggs in the weeks coming up to Hallowe'en!), set off fireworks and scare conservative, middle class people who don't relaize that if you don't antagonize groups of teens, they'll ignore you. But if you DO antagonize them, they'll throw eggs at your car.

Unfortunately there won't. As it turns out, I didn't remember, remember the 5th of November. ...and I'm working tomorrow. ...and I only get Sunday off before starting the whole work week over again.

That said, there's fireworks exploding all over the place & if you're good, E&I will go to the BIG fireworks show tomorrow and maybe, just maybe, we'll take pictures!

GODDAMMIT!

Can you at least post a link to your last year's GF entry? You know, the one where you're burning an 8 1/2 x 11 effigy?

It's not even 8 AM & Elisbeth's already on about putting more pics on the page so you never know. ... As for the effigy burning, you'll find that about midway down our 'year 1 photo album.'

PS- Working on a Saturday blows. But it's not as pathetic as those people who are already at the mall waiting us to open so that they can shop.
