Paris in Pictures pt.2

After a tough schlep, it's nice to be able to lounge in the foyer of our hotel room with a glass of wine.

Elisabeth consults the map, wondering where the heck Stephen's taken her now. The Ecole Militaire is in the background.

Tell me about it! We did so much walking around the city, I can honestly say that we know the 'downtown core' really well. By the end of our stay, we hardly needed to check our maps at all and it was all about exploring the side streets that we'd missed the 1st, 2nd and usually 3rd time we'd passed by. Most of the time those side streets held more rewarding finds that the main ones. Elisabeth has to be credited with most of our finds as she likes to wander and I'm more of a 'point A to point B' kind of person.
