Özlem was born in September,1998 as the first and only child of our family.During pregnancy doctors said she would be smaller than average but she was born as 50 cm. and 3.500 g.Her left foot was puffy at birth and after a chromosome test we learned that she is a TS child.She has taken many tests including  heart, kidney , eye,ear etc.The tests are OK for now and she is being controlled periodically.Her height and weight are normal.Endocronologists say it is early  to start growth hormone at  the moment.We are tall (185cm-175cm) and she must have taken some from our genetic features.

Özlem's problems with TS for now are puffy feet,rotated ears (look left) and a tendancy for middle ear infections.I'm afraid she will have to have capsules (or tubes) in the ears

Özlem was a very difficult baby.She used to have wind problem and sleeepless nights.She had her first tooth when she was 4 months old and started walking at 11 months.She has been very active.(in fact too).She wants to do everything by herself and doesn't like getting help.

Rather than playing with dolls or toys,she was wery fond of playing with books.She learned the numbers to ten at the age of two.Then she had the joy of letters and words.She is nearly 4 1/2 and can read all the words and write quite well.

Özlem goes to a kindergarten and likes it very much.Her relations with other children are great.She likes swimming,playing with computer and helping her mother in the kitchen.
