Rika is an excellent working livestock guardian in temperament and body type. She has outstanding muscular balance and an awesome flexibility. Her movement as she dives through fence rails and in the tightest spaces is a sight to behold. She has very maternal instincts, demonstrated with her own pups and how she assists in the raising of surrogate puppies, teaching good manners in and out of the pasture. She maintains vigilance, alerting only when encroachment occurs from land or air. She is very loving to ALL her charges. When our grandchildren come to visit, she melts into their laps with deep devotion.
