Clothes, holmes. Only da phattest.
Clothes, holmes. Only da phattest.
This is just a preliminary list...there'll be a lot more if I ever shift
my lazy ass into gear.
Fashion all over. Where it's at.
- KAPLAN'S-On Market St., down near the crack portion of the neighborhood.
One side is all army surplus, the rest is all sportswear and work wear.
They have a good selection of Dickies work stuff and a pretty good selection
of Adidas pants, shirts, etc, in ALL sizes. Definitely worth a look up.
- HARPUT'S-1527 Fillmore. This store gets DA BOMB Award for Phatness. Sure,
one half of the store is all Nike, but the other half is all Adidas. They
got shirts, jackets, shoes, EVERYTHING. Only downside is most of the sizes
are in large and above, but that's cool. The clerk, a black guy, is real
cool.
- AMERICAN RAG-1310 Sutter and Van Ness. This place got used and
new stuff, a lot of it very cool. Kind of like where you'd imagine the guys
in "Swingers" would shop, but they have a lot of real trendy "I'm in high
school" clothes too. Only bad side: expensive as all hell. Go in prepared
to spend a lot on something you wouldn't expect to.
- FTC. SNOWBOARDS-On Bush, right off of Van Ness towards fillmore. Nice
small place...they carry a lot of baggy designer skate pants, from jeans to
khakis, plus t-shirts and sweatshirts, not to mention a wide array of baseball
style and knit caps. They got a lot of snowboarding and skating stuff too.
My only problem with shopping here is that I feel like a poser since I haven't
skated for quite some time, and when I did, I wasn't real good at it either.
But I've gotta thank those two guys for not breaking my left arm with their
boards after telling them that, only my right. Jizzmoppers.
