My great grandfather received the will from his brother Bailey S. Day.

This is the last will and testament of me Charles Day of the Township of
Portland in the County of Frontenac and province of Ontario -- Farmer --
made this twenty second day of May in the year of our Lord one thousand nine
hundred and five.

I revoke all former wills or other testamentary dispositions by me at any
time heretofore made, and declare this only to be and contain my last will
and testament.

I direct all my just debts, funderal and testamentary expenses to be paid
and satisfied by my executor hereinafter named as soon as conveniently may
be after my decease.

I give, decise and bequeath all my real and personal estate of which I may
die possessed in the manner following. That is to say:

I. To my wife Catherine Day the use of my dwelling house on lot number two
in the fifth concession of the Township of Portland during her life together
with fuel an dboard with right of ingress and egress also a horse, buggy,
cutter, and harness for her own use, with the right to keep anyone to assist
or care for her that she may wish.

Also all the household furniture, cooking utensils, bedding, and clothing
that may be in the house at the time of my decease. And the sum of six
hundred dollars in money to be paid out of the estate.

II. To my son Damon Day the sum of two hundred dollars.

III. To my son Charles H. Day the sum of two hundred dollars.

IV. To my son Frederick Day the sum of four hundred dollars.

V. To my daughter Hester wife of Frederick Kavaneer, the sum of four hundred
dollars.

VI. To my daughter Rhoda Day the sum of four hundred dollars and the piano.

VII. All of the aforesaid bequests to be paid by my son Bailey S. Day within
five years after my decease, with interest at the rate of three per cent per
annum. All these bequests to be paid out of the estate and are a direct
charge thereon.

All of the reside of my estate not hereinbefore disposed of I give, devise
and bequeath under my son Bailey S. Day.

And I nominate and appoint my wife Catherine Day and my son Bailey S. Day to
be executors of tihs my last will and testament.

In witness whereof I have hereunto set my hand the day and year first above
written. Signed, published and declard by the said Charles Day the testator
as and for his last will and testament in the presence of us who both
present together at the same time in his presence at his request and in the
presence of each other have hereunto subscribed our names at witnesses.
