Joseph DAY born 1756 Walpole, Ma. immigrated to Canada VIA N.Y. State in 1821 and settled in East Nissouri Township, Ontario, Canada. His wife Mary Mowry? Marbray? immigrated to Canada with Joseph. Daughter Polly Day born 1791-stayed in N.Y. State- married William Crowell. Son Joseph Day born circa 1793 - stayed in N.Y. State Daughter Betsy Day born 1795 - stayed in N.Y. State - married Daniel Ruttenbur Son Dexter Baldwin Day born 1798 - came to Canada with Joseph - Dexter went back to N.Y State and married Hannah Cass. He returned to Canada for a period of time before moving to Wisconsin. Dexter and Hannah divorced in Green County, Wisconsin. Dexter then married Phebe Weeks. Son Jonathan Day born 1801 - came to Canada with Joseph - married Polly McCarty. Jonathan eventually moved to Port Sanilac, Michigan. Son Elmer Day (my direct line) born 1803 came to Canada with Joseph. Elmer went back to New York State in 1822/23 and married Aseneth Fowler. His first two children were born in New York. He came back to Canada in 1829/30 and stayed. Daughter Susan Day born 1805 - stayed in New York State - married Jotham Aldrich. Susan and Jotham immigrated to Canada circa 1840 and settled on a farm next to Susan's brother Elmer. Daughter (name unknown) born circa 1806 - came to Canada with Joseph. Nothing else is known about her. There was another daughter named Asenith Day born? Nothing is known about her either. Other than his birth date there is no available information about Joseph's son Joseph born in 1793.
