Merleta  Porter. He was one of 15 children born to 
Willie Wesley Day born Feb.27,1892 Bowie Co.,Tx.married 
to Sarah Dean He was one of 8 children born to William Jasper Day 
born April 1854 in Dallas Co,Ala. married to Octavie 
Smith and later to Flora Smith . He was one of 7 children born to 
William Wiley Day born 1823 in Dallas Co. Ala. married  to Mary Ann Smoke 
Daughter of Lewis and Sarah Smoke He was He was one of 8 children born to 
William Day Jr.born 1798 in Edgefield co,SC and married to  Mary King
He was one of 10 children born to William Sr. born 1754 Edgefield , SC married 
to Rutha Day  William Day Sr. served in the Rev.War for 3 or 4 years . A 
momument has been erected at his grave site  Sister Springs Baptist Church 
Cemeterynear Tyler ,east of Sema,Ala. His father was John Day Sr.Born abt1730 
in Edgefield SC.married to Lucinda Griffin There were 7 children born to them .
John was the son of Henry DaySr. born abt 1700 and married to Mary Walton. 
He was born in N.C. Or Va.
