John P. (probably Phillip) Day:
John P. Day was living in Scott County, IL, in the 1850 census reports. His parents
were Phillip Day (born in Logan County, KY) and Nancy Allen Day (born in IL).
This family lived in Greene County, IL, in the 1860 census and Schuyler
County, IL, in the 1880 census. John P. Day eventually went to Washington
State, and I am hoping to find descendants of his, as he was my gguncle.
     Also, I would like to get further back in this line. Phillip Day's
parents were Henry and Hannah Graham Day who were married in Stokes County,
North Carolina. Henry Day's father was James Day who was in Stokes County, NC
in the 1790 census. James Day had a brother named Thomas Day. This is an Irish
Day line, and I would like to get at least as far back as the immigrant. Can
anyone help?
