Dimmie/Dimis/Demis Kilborn, of Colchester, CT. 
(these spellings have been found, and doubtless they were
contractions of Diadema) d. October 18, 1820, ae. 75, 
according to her gravestone.  He moved to Dalton, MA after 
the revolution.  He was in the revolution in the Second Co. 
under Capt. George Pitkin, of Hartford, CT, 
in Colonel Hinman?s regiment, and answered the Lexington Alarm,
under Amos Jones, Capt., April 19, 1775; also in Capt. Simon?s
company, Colonel Erastus Wolcott?s regiment, in 1776.

They resided in Hartford, CT, where he was a prominent man.  
He was a member of the firm of A. & C. Day & Day, 
Griswold & Co.  He was lieutenant-governor of CT, 1856-57.

in Dalton, MA; m. September 18, 1845, Sarah Ann Lloyd, 
of Dalton, MA; d. July 15, 1891.  He was a station agent 
at Dalton on the Boston & Albany railroad, and also at Chatham
MA.  They were the parents of four children, John, being the
third, and the only one to survive infancy.
