Right across from East High School until the entire block was made into a parking lot for the
 high school. After arriving in Des Moines, John Amos Day operated a Dairy Farm. Do not 
know if it was his or he operated it for someone else. John Amos Day died after being gored
 by a Bull. He was first buried in Simms Cemetery on East University. Was later moved to 
Laurel Hill Cemetery due to the widening of University Avenue. While he lived in
 Indianapolis and Bloomfield he was a plasterer by trade. See records for Joseph 
and Laura Day. They were living with this family while in Indiana and Iowa. Probably 
children of a brother of John Amos Day. Not mentioned anywhere in the family bible records.
 Francis: Their was a Milton Galbraith age 19 living with this family in the 1850 Indiana 
census. He was a Plasterer by trade. Probably a brother of Francis. Census shows that he was
 born in Indiana. Galbraith is a Scottish name and the Galbraiths belonged to both the
 MacDonald and the MacFarlane Clans. Census records show Francis was born in Kentucky 
and that her father was born in Pennslyvania.  Francis is buried in Laural Hill Cemetery, 
Des Moines, Iowa.
