My name is Peggy Lou (Day) Lee and I live in Springfield, Missouri
My sister Barbra Sue (Day) Griffin did this research and we both are curious of other info.
We would like more information about our distant ancestors, especially where they originated in Europe.
John Barker Day (1795-1831) married Nancy Bottoms (1797-1885)
2 children:
Robert B. Day (1817-1886) and Harriet Kelly (1822-1895)
2 children-William Preston Day (1842-1922) and Lydia Jane Cossey (1844-1917)
Over a period of 28 years, fourteen children were born,
one being my grandfather - William Henry "Dick" Day (1866-1935)
The following DAYS homesteaded in Dallas County, Missouri:
William Henry "Dick" Day married Rosa Ellen Keller (1871-1935)
5 children, one being my father - Raymond Day (1901-1987)
married Essie Marie Burtin (1903-1947)
2 children with 2nd wife Doris Irene Dodds (1914- )
I'm interested in any family history that relates to this line of DAYS.
