Ruth is still working on this line. If anyone has any information at all please email her
at the above email address. She has been able to add Ralph and Mary as her 1st Samuels parents however,
please read her note below and see if any of you know of this line

Notes from Ruth:
I just found that the Samuel b. in 1713 was born in Wrentham (from Wrentham town records)
Samuel, s. of Ralph and Mary, June 10, 1713.
There is a Ralph , s. of John and Abigail, Dec. 9, 1681 entry in the Wrentham Births.
Maybe it's John Day that was the immigrant then?
I don't see any John Day born earlier in the Wrentham records.

Samuel was a Captain in 1795, a judge in 1810 appointed to qualify Civil Officers, Norfolk Co., MA.
Samuel Day's house still stands near Wrentham and may someday be open to the public
The following description of the house appeared with a photo in:
"A Guide to Historic Wrentham, Massachusetts being those Buildings, Sites, and Monuments
listed with the Massachusetts Historical Commission"
"This is a 2-story, 5-bay house on a granite foundation with a 2-story ell in the rear and a small wing.
Georgian details include the projecting window cornices and sills. The unusal front entry consists of Tuscan
pilasters beneath a classical pediment applied to a base of rusticated quoins. Outbuildings include a
large barn. One of the earliest owners was Judge Samuel Day who served on the first bench of the
Norfolk County Court 1806, as a state representative 1805-8, and as a state senator 1809-11.
He also served in the Revolutionary War under Capt. Lemuel Kollock of Wrentham."
The house is at 996 West Street.

Sheldonville. (A small town next to Wrentham)
