I am looking for my namesake, and am at a brick wall.
The one guy in question is my great-grandfather.
Richard Leonard Day brn 1877 in Peoria Ill. His
mother was a Florence E. (Snyder?). And he had a
younger brother named Benjamin.
The only reference I can find to him is whenhe moved to
North Little rock, Arkansas in 1900 when he was 23, and went to work for the RR.
I have pictures GALORE of him, his brother, and a few of his mother.
She was reported (living) I think, with a man in Galveston at the turn of
the century. And she was washed out to sea in the great
hurricane/flood of 1901.
The only thing I have on his father was that he was from Indiana.
I've been at this point for years.
Can anyone give me a tip/hint or any tidbit that might help?
