Will the real John Day please stand up !!!! The original Day settler to
Jeddore, Nova Scotia was a chap names John Day. We know he died at age
94 on May 22, 1828 in Jeddore, Nova Scotia. This would make his date of
birth approx 1734.

There are several "theories" as to his origins but none have been
verified. Some say he came from Bergen County, N.J. but that has pretty
much proven to be incorrect. More likely he came from South Carolina
but DID HE?? Who were his parents, who was his spouse and mother of his
children? When and where was he born?

If anybody can come up with some verifiable facts on this gentlemen, a
great many people would be very thankful. The following is the
information we have on his children.
