Searching for information on The Ezra Day family.

States: Day, Ezra...........Burton. 177-
             Moved from Cobequid in 1779.
(Cobequid - Colchester Co., Nova Scotia)

The Studholm Report of 1783, Burton Township, #39
States: Ezra Day purchased the improvements of Moses
Easty who had been in possession about 7 years.  Said
Day has been on about 4 years and came from Cumberland.
I have a copy of this report.

Book by Gordon & Grant, "On The Ridge", 1975, p.49
In 1799 Ezra Day's name was on the original land grant
issued for the Keswick Ridge area.  
Book no longer in print but I have a copy of part of the book.

Ezra Day's family settled on lot 17 & 18, Keswick Ridge.
Different land records have been found from Burton Twp
onwards.  

Looking for information on the Cobequid, NS area and any
known family members.  Ezra Day Sr. born c. 173- US.  
Ezra Day Jr., born c. 1760 US, married twice.  Land 
records show one of them was married to an "Abigail".
The Day family is possibly from Massachusetts.

Part Two of "DAY", Ezra, MA To NS To NB

Ezra Day Sr., in part one may be from this Day family 
in Attleboro (Attleborough) Bristol Co., Massachusetts.
The year of birth 173- would fit for Ezra Day Jr., to be
born c.1760 in US.

Looking for any information available or other 
researchers.

Attleboro, Bristol Co., Massachusetts.

John and Hannah Day had the following children:

A Sister? Sarah Robbins who married Benjamin Day
also of Attleboro, Massachusetts:

Benjamin Day Jr., of Attlebor, Bristol Cty, MA., married Sarah
Robbins 13 Aug 1742i at Attleboro, Bristol Cty, MA.

Benjamin & Sarah (Robbins) Day Jr., had the following children:
1. Dorcas Day, female, born 17 Oct 1743, Attleboro
2. Peletiah Day, male, born 05 Nov 1744, Attleboro
3. Sarah Day, female, born 02 Nov 1746, Attleboro, died 
    26 Mar 1767, Attleboro.


Part 3
Part Three of "Day", Ezra, MA To NS To NB

Ezra Day Jr., born c.1760 in US and died 1836 in York
Co., New Brunswick.  It is not known when Ezra Day Sr., 
died, land records not changed as both named Ezra. 
Land records also show that:

1. Ezra's (which one?) was married to an Abigail.
2. Ezra Day (Jr. I believe) was married twice.  
    1810 Land Petition states he had a wife & 8 children
     one named David.

Possible children in first marriage
1. Ann Day married 1814 to William Hoyt (mentioned 
    as daughter of Ezra Day in Hoyt genealogy). 
2. John Day (mentioned in Will) married to Elizabeth 
     (Hersey?  Children: Mahetable & Jonathon born
     in Kingsclear, Samuel born in Fredericton).
3. Elizabeth Mary Day, born c.1790, NB, married to
    John Brewer 05 Apr 1816, York Co., Innkeeper
    Parish of Kingsclear.  Children: Abigail, Amy, 
    Elizabeth Brewer.
4. David Day (mentioned in land records) born c.1793 
    NB, 1851 census Kingsclear has a David Day living
    with John Brewer, Innkeeper, and family.
5. Abagail Day, born c.1800 NB, died 14 Nov 1818
    York Cty.  Newspaper Vital Stats: states d/o 
    Izra Day, Keswick Ridge, York Co., age 18 yrs.
6. Thomas Day, born c. 1802 NB, married to Dianna
    mentioned: 1834 Deed between Ezra & Mehetable
    Day & Thomas Day, Keswick Ridge. Thomas 
    mentioned as son in land deed to Ezra's son James, 
    minor.
7. William Day, born c. 1789 NB, married to Martable,
    Children: William, Sofia, John, Martable

Second Marriage

Ezra Day Jr., married Mehitable Barker, 19 Sep 1809 in
Kingsclear Parish, York Co.  Mehitable born 17 Mar 1786
d/o John Barker & Mary Woodbury.

Possible Children in second marriage:

1. Thomas Day, born c. 1811, married to Mary, living Parish
     Brighton, Carleton Cty, children named: David, Jonathan,
     Hezekiah, James, Ezra, William, Mary Ann Day.
2. James Day, married to Abigail Harris. Mentioned in 
     fathers will.  A minor in 1836. In 1841 land deed James 
     & wife Abigail mentioned with mother Mehitable.  Is this
     the right James - Abigail marriage?
3. Ezra Day, mentioned in fathers Will.  A minor in 1836
4. Richard Day, born 11 Jan 1818, York Co., married to
    Jane Johnston 05 Sep 1840 in York Cty.  Richard & Jane
    moved to Oxford Co., Ontario.  Richard is my G.G. 
    grandfather.  "Note" Is Richard really Ezra Day (Middle 
    Name?)
5. Hetta Ann Day, born c. 1826, married to Thomas Crouse
    1851 census Parish Douglas has her mother Mehetable 
     Day living with them.

Another report states that there were 5 children in this 
second marriage.
