Mr. Tracy H. Day of Westfield [Maine] died Sunday evening
March, 12 at Dansville, [New York] hospital after a short illness.
He was 86, born December 16, 1880 at Westfield, [Maine], he
was the son of Frank and Jennie (Lawrence) Day. He was a
resident of Westfield most of his life. He was a retired potato
grower and importer of potato barrels from Canada, a member
of the Presque Isle, [Maine] Seventh Day Adventist
Church, and served the town of Westfield as tax collector
for a number of years and was also a town constable for several
years. At the time of his death he had been visiting a son in
Wayland, New York.

He is survived by his wife, Mrs. Mina (Caldwell) Day of
Wayland, N.Y. three sons, Max of Wayland, N.Y., Glenn of
South Lancaster, Mass., and Lloyd of Farmingham, Mass.
He leaves a brother, Ray of Washburn, [Maine],
five sisters, Mrs. Bessie Miller of Caribou, [Maine]
Mrs. Lillian Lunn of Arkport, N.Y., Mrs. Dora Barrows of
Riverside, Calif., Miss Lucy Day and Mrs. Grace Drew of
Tacoma Park, Maryland. He also leaves18 grandchildren,
seven great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services were Thursday, March 16, at Graves Funeral
Home, Mars Hill, [Maine], Pastor Christof W. Kober of the
Seventh Day Adventist Church, Presque Isle, officiated,
Mrs. Louise Smith was soloist accompanied by
Miss Karen Garrison, organist. Interment will be in
Marshall Cemetery at Westfield, [Maine] in the spring.
Bearers were Charles Guiggey, Harley Shaw, Raleight Perkins,
and Phillip Fitzgerald.

The three sons have now pass away and his wife Mina.
