SPONSOR AN INSEED ACTIVITY INSEED projects are primarily dependent on great deal of hard-work, personal drive and innovativeness of students in which their teachers, people in community and businesses are required to contribute generously. The networking and alliance making is unique strength of INSEED which has earned respect and collaborations from agencies as wide-ranging as universities, UNDP, WHO and Governments. During 1998-99, posters, campaigns and meetings organised by INSEED earned accolade for it. MODES OF HELP BY THE ORGANISATIONS For Panipat Environment Project certain type of medicines, old computers, software programmes such as city information system and epidemiostat are urgently needed. The organisations which provide these help or any other allied help for the pursuit of the project, would be acknowledged in our bulletins, newsletters etc. Students getting any other grants/fellowships/aid to meet their travel cost to visit the project country would acknowledge the contribution made by the businesses. Though in every case, the memorandum of understanding signed by the students with the company, must be approved by the Advisory Board of INSEED so as to avoid any possibility of acceptance of grants/gifts from organisations which allegedly adopt policies contrary to ethical conventions of INSEED. Companies/individuals contributing more than £50, will find their name displayed in our Newsletter and they would be allowed to put their logo (£500 for one month) on INSEED Newsletter Online. If you have logo in gif or jpeg file formats, please submit the document to Dr Jagveer Rawat at the address given below. STRENGTHENING THE CAPABILITY OF THE TARGET COMMUNITY INSEED is committed to supply second-hand books and computers to the the community in project area. We seek these items from such organisations which have decided to discard these items. Local branch of INSEED will make arrangements for collection of the items. Consignments would go to project areas in June and December, respectively . Contributions in form of kind such as meeting freight charges from Britain to the target community, are welcome. If you are such an agency, please contact Mr Anwar-ul-Haq or phone him at 0151 291 4981 or Ms Vanessa Pintus in UK at her mobile number 07901866570 for further enquiry.
