Natures Union
We stand at the edge of the woods.
Brother wind whispers in the branches,
Telling those that listen the secrets that he knows.
The song he whispers falls like rain upon our ears.
The mist leaves diamonds upon your hair.
Blending arm in arm, we walk deeper into the glen.
The wind whispers, “Tis’ the path that lovers take.”
We stop to listen, pause in our path,
Fingers touch lightly upon my arm;
Knowing soon we shall embrace.
Lost naught but to each other;
I whisper softly in your ear.
Loves sweet embrace clothes us.
I look into your eyes and see your very soul;
It reflects the depth of our love.
We are lost to the world,
The two who are now one.
The scent of you is intoxicating;
The sound of your voice thrills me,
And I am forever lost in this sweet union.
Could this be a dream or is this reality?
I care not, the union must be complete.
Is this reality my own or the one created by two,
Heaven in my arms?
We gaze upon each other, questions unanswered,
Answers unspoken, and care not.
If it be real, I will partake.
If it not, my heart will understand.
Eternity seems so close, the world our playground,
Nature our bed.
Tis’ the eternity of two joined.
The soft whispers fall once more.
The wind is your voice, the breeze your touch,
The sun the soft glow of our love and the heat of our passion.
We are in a world where dreams and reality have joined.
Tis’ the meld of real and shadow;
That which is to be and which has already been,
The joining of the ages.
Ages past and ages future join us here.
Tis’ the junction of all,
The space that is real and that is not real.
This place of tryst where dreams and reality join together, form a bond,
Go beyond present to another place and time.
It unites we two lovers as one,
Drawing nature to us, completing the cycle,
Granting us peace and safety.
Nature smiles upon our union...
We are one,
And all is well with the world.
