Band of Idiots, when completed, will have been purposely written and recorded as if a group of people with absolutely no musical abilities or previous knowledge of audio recording congregated in a studio to make an album.  "It will be a concept album of sorts," explains Ffej, "whereby the songs will rely less on instrumental virtuosity and lyrical brilliance, and more on simple, infantile, jack-assed qualities reminiscent of cartoons, junk food, and toilet humor."

These recordings have been collected from various sources and compiled for your listening pleasure.  Upon listening to Damien Jurado's intriguing Postcards and Audio Letters, a collection of conversations, tape recorded letters and oddities (apparently acquired from various West Coast thrift shops), Ffej decided to assemble an album featuring similar material.  Culled from a vast assortment of personal archive material, Audio Files Collected - Vol. I will provide tiny, yet fascinating, glimpses into the lives of unknown people.

Piranah Armada
Experimental recording unit from Philadelphia features bassist Matt Spade (of Blather's Kite fame) and performs often lengthy, spaced-out improvisational music and instrumental explorations for listeners with long attention spans.  They plan to release material on both cassette and CD format.
