Adam P. Funk

Private, son of Martin Funk of Co. K, enlisted September 13 1861 at Lebanon, PA. He was a trumpeter in Co. A. Was wounded in battles at Fair Oaks, VA May 31, 1862 and Petersburg, VA March 25, 1865. He later served in the Army in 4th, 6th, 2nd and 3rd US Cavalry. Was discharged on June 5, 1889 in Washington, DC. He belonged to John A. Rawlings Post G.A.R. and was a member of the Union Veteran Legion, serving as treasurer of the National Union. He was laid to rest on January 8, 1901 in Arlington National Cemetery, Arlington, VA.
