"OFFICERS CERTIFICATE OF DISABILITY
I Capt. Joseph H Johnson of Company H, of the 93RD Regiment of
Pennsylvania Volunteer Infantry certify on honor that Amos Gass was a
Corporal in my Company and is, as I am informed, an applicant for an
Invalid Pension; that Not Known. and I further certify that the said
Amos Gass Company H. 93RD Pennsylvania Volunteer Infantry, was wounded
while nobly doing his duty in the battle before Petersburg, VA. on the
25TH day of March 1865, by a Musket Ball in right arm. and that the said
Corporal Amos Gass was perfectly sound when he entered the service on
