Ezra enlisted in the 93rd.  Oct. 12th. 1861 as a private. For a three year term.
Promoted to full corporal May 6, 1864, and mustered out with the regiment. June 27, 1865.
He was a veteran of the unit, he signed up for a second term.

He was 24 when he enlisted.
He was from the Tulpahocken area of Berks County, PA.

After the war he married Catharine Anspach daughter of Johann Jacob Anspach and Maria Catherine Womelsdorf.
Ezra was a farmer in the area and had 7 children.
He died April 11, 1908 at the age of 68.
