The result is a high-performance wedge with the highly-desirable, medium-soft feel (Rockwell hardness rating of HRB85) of forged carbon steel.

• Snake Eyes wedges also feature the "preworn" sole which promotes solid contact on shots played from any lie. Bounce angles are reduced as the sole gets closer to the hosel, keeping the leading edge closer to the ground when the face is open - reducing the chance of "skulled" finesse shots around the green.

• New Forged Black wedges are subjected to a special CAPD (Cathodic Arc Plasma Deposition) Titanium-Nitride treatment which employs a vacuum arc to create a vapor emission of the compound.
