The most recurring thing in all of my dreams is a bridge. This bridge, it's very narrow, and it stretches across one of the rivers here in Pittsburgh, only the river is very much wider. The bridge sways back and forth. Very terrifying.

So, in the bridge-dreams, I have to walk across the bridge. And sometimes I get across, and sometimes I don't.

So this time, I go across, and I am just almost to the other end, and I see this telephone box, the red one, on the back of The Rise And Fall.... But it really isn't the telephone box, because this one...you would walk inside of it, but then you would fall down, because there is no floor - there is water.

And here I am, standing on this bridge, staring at this phone box, because someone is in it, and he is drowning.

So I run over, totally forgetting this dangerous bridge, but I run over, slip once, almost fall. But I am okay. And here I am, looking down into the bottom of the phone box.

The water's very very dark, and deep, and I cannot see the bottom, and it really scares me. And here we have Ziggy Stardust here, drowning in this thing.

So I start to freak out, but I kneel down and I hold out my hand.

And Ziggy, he grabs onto my hands, and I pull him up...almost like the rescue-type scenes you get in the movies: he's leaning on his hands and knees, water's dripping down from his hair and clothes, he's coughing, and here I am with my arm around him trying to help him, and telling him it's okay.

So I hold him close to me, and he looks up and kisses me.

And then I wake up.
