Abuse happens all around the world,at this moment someone is either being beaten,yelled at,sexually abused or killed!!!
"TAMMY"
My daughter "Tammy" was one of the lucky ones and finally got away from being called names,and the bruises on her tiny body have finally healed! But the scars will forever remain in her memory!!Its a common story,boy meets girl and they fall in love,but later her dear sweet Christopher would change into the monster that she would hate in the future!!!But first to tell you a little about my daughter before she met Chris!
Tammy was a likeable little girl,no one was ever a stranger to her,she had so many friends that loved her. Our home was like the neighborhood hangout,and sometimes I wondered if all these kids had a home! She was always an independent person with her own ideas ,she like the normal things girls loved,like Barbie dolls,music,skating and than at 15 she met Chris and from that moment on,none of our lives would ever be the same!!
"CHRISTOPHER"
Chris was a likeable young man that seemed sweet as apple pie and we just all grew to love him! They dated for almost 3 years,separating often because Chris had a tendancy to sleep with other girls,but he would come back and sweet talk his way back into Tammys life and it would start all over again!!! Even when her father and I wouldn't allow him to be at our house they would manage to sneak around and be together!!
It was the first time one of our children became so defiant against us!! And it was heart breaking being a parent of a teen that had her own mind made up and nothing we said seemed to matter!! So as time went on we learnt that we had to allow her to live her own life and that we didn't have much say in this matter!!!!!!
"THE WEDDING"
ON May26,1990 " Tammy and Chris" were married,they seemed so happy and in love,but no one really knew the way he had already began his abuse,she had gotton a broken nose but they said it was an accident,he had dropped her and I had already gotton onto him for calling her bad names that I don't dare mention!!! But they started with F ended with K and the common B that ended with H word!!! But she went ahead and married him always saying ,but I love him and he will change,he needs me,he loves me!!! My daughter was blinded by love for this young man!!
"KRISTINA" "
And after they were married for 3 weeks Tammy got pregnant,and was really sick ,but he would call her a liar and yell and he put holes in the walls, than one day when he wanted to go with his friends,he yelled and swore at her and threw her on the bed,pulling her hair and dragging her!!! How she carried that baby was a surprize to all of us and she did leave him and came home,but like he had always done,he came back and sweet talked her,told her he would change and he just couldn't live without her!! But he calmed down and tried to spoil her as she got bigger and we thought,well just maybe he was changing!!!!
We were just dreaming!!!! Kristina was born on march 13,1991 on a snowy night,and all he could do was yell at her while she was in labor,infact his mother told him to leave and she stayed with her! We were snowed in and almost an hour away and I couldn't be there with her to see my first granchild born!!! Kristina was beautiful with red hair and greeneyes,but he than no longer gave Tammy attention,it was little Kristina he showed off and he started getting more physical with Tammy,hitting her on the back,pulling her hair and yelling at her ,telling her she was useless and no other man would want her,she was fat at 135 lbs!!! He was so cruel and she would try starving herself to get back to her 115 lb body,she would get depressed and lost patience with Kristina!
Chris's mother would take the baby and keep her,I was to busy taking care of my ailing father and my crippled mother to take the baby off her hands to help her!! But I would always be sure I picked Tammy up every Friday to take her to get groceries or else Chris would spend their money on his car,that she was to scared to drive,because if she hurt it,he would beat her!! My daughter was in Hell and I couldn't save her!!
Tammy stayed with Chris and took whatever he wanted to do with her,he became sexually crazed after another wild fling with one of his wilder women and Tammy just got more depressed and blamed herself!
"ATTEMPTED SUICIDE"So one day when she felt that she just couldn't handle anymore she took an overdose of pills and was rushed to the hospital,Chris just calls me and tells me and never showed up at the hospital!! When her father and I got there ,they had just pumped out her stomach,she was black around her eyes and pale and crying,she just wanted to die!! With tears I write this,as her mother I never could understand why? We loved her so much,why would she want to leave us this way??
