My thoughts on Thanksgiving 2005...

A Roman Orgy of Food and I'm not saying that just because I enjoy talking about orgies of food...

Take a large group of people that only see each two or three times a year, and cram them all in a space that was designed to hold at the most half the number that was now occupying it...

Add enough food of different types, qualities, and quantities to feed three times the number of people that are gathered about the food in an area that is too small to hold them all...

Then eat and eat and eat, eat until you can't eat anymore. Take a break, then come back and eat well beyond the safe amount that is permitted by law...

Nap, then eat some more...

The vomitoriums will be overflowing with the joyous merry makers...

Then eat again!!!

O, Thanksgiving is a holiday that the Romans would be proud of minus the naked people rolling about...

Though most of the people you wouldn't want to see naked anyhow, so this is a good thing...

So eat, drink, and be merry for tomorrow we have leftovers!!!
