1:1then jesus told them another parable:
1:2suppose a woman has three sets of keys-- 1:3one for her car, one for her church, and one for her house-- 1:4and she loses one when her carrabiner breaks. 1:5does she not call her brother praying he has a spare house key for her, 1:6only to be informed that he has only the key to her last apartment? 1:7does she not scour the church where her carrabiner broke? 1:8does she not empty her purse on the passenger seat of her car? 1:9does she not search every crevice of her car in vain? 1:10does she not call her friend and weep to her? 1:11and when she finds them, 1:12there in the parking lot of the church where she was running to her car in an attempt to have the kids home in time to sprint up to the south hill by 7:30pm, 1:13she calls her friend and says, "rejoice with me; i have found my lost keys." 1:14in the same way, i tell you, there is rejoicing in the presence of the angels of god over one sinner who repents.
2:1the sad thing is, i had to look that story up to see how it ends.
