DONNAMARIA'S BETTER BUYS
Hi, my name is Donnamaria and I collect
Barbies. Barbie takes me into my own little
world where only a Barbie collector could
understand how it feels. It makes me think
what I was doing in 1959, or what the
fashions were in 1963. When she finally
caught
on she took the world by storm. When you
first saw the
Bubble Cut everyone thought of Jackie Kennedy
(she's my personal favorite).I remember when
Camelot was in full swing, I lived with my
Nana most of my life growing up and I can't
remember a time when she was either buying
Barbie clothes, making Barbie clothes, or
just collecting clothes that would fit
Barbie. In making Barbie clothes, she would
make things that were spectacular. Did you
ever hear of making
something out of nothing? My Nana could do
it. Unfortunately she is no longer with us,(I
really
miss that lady) and I am thinning out my
collection. My hobby
is sewing and designing long straight gowns
with beads, brocade, lace, sequins, etc.
Then I add furs, neckbands, jewerly, and
sometimes
beautiful lace hats. I will be updating my
page from time to time so check back
often.
I
have clothes for Barbie, Skipper and Ken. All
items of clothing are in excellent condition
unless stated otherwise and most are ready to
dress your doll. I'll try
to explain each piece in the most detailed
way so you know exactaly what you are
getting. I am always
looking to buy
collections of Barbies or by the piece.
Looking also for Sonny & Cher, Donnie &
Marie, Farah, Dolly Parton, Darci, 6 Million
Dollar Man, Oscar Goldman and Tiffiny
Taylor. Also all their outfits.
