Chapter 1

Prolouge

Before everyone gets all cynical about the situation; let's take into consideration the fact that although we'd like to think so, no one really knows for sure what goes on behind the scenes. Of course some would choose to believe that everything is just fun and games, that they are all just one big happy family who gets along perfectly, but this story explores other possibilities like -drama, anger, hurt, immaturity and chaos. Yet, in all of this there is still the comedy, happiness, loyalty, romance, and chaos that makes lives worth living and stories worth telling.

This is the story of a girl group called Special F/X. About their enemies and friends. It also tells of their fights and problems, what they have overcome and what they still have yet to overcome. To the public it was an entertaining thing to watch and everyone was happy that they were overcoming their alleged conflict.

This story tells of how it all started, how the characters adapt and evolve, and how everyone copes while on tour w/ the Backstreet Boys.

Chapter 1

‘What’! Nick yelled.

‘We are NOT touring w/ them!’? Kevin said.

‘Oh yes you are,’ Daniel replied. ‘All differences aside, you’ve made yourselves look horrible bashing them at every chance! Everything has already been worked out by Sheila and I.’

‘How could you possibly expect us to do this’? Howie said. ‘You know how we feel about them.’

‘So we don’t have a say in this’? Brian interrupted.

‘Either you do it or you lose more of your fans,’ Sheila threatened. ‘Boys it’s just one tour. You need the publicity and you need it fast.’

‘Guys, this is in your best interest,’ Daniel said.

‘How do you figure that’? AJ asked sarcastically. ‘Our best interest is far from being with them,’ he added.

‘What do you really have against them’? Sheila asked.

‘They’re posers!’ AJ yelled. ‘Look at their style, or lack thereof.’

‘Have you heard their first single’? Nick asked with a disgusted look on his face.

‘Yeah that says enough in itself,’ Howie grimaced thinking about the girls song ‘Just a Crush’.

‘Well if I remember correctly your first single didn’t do that good either,’ Sheila retorted. ‘They have just as little, if not less, freedom than you all did. They deserve your respect if nothing else; they’ve worked their butts of to get where they are today only to be put down by people who should know how they feel.’ she looked at each of them. ‘To think that you all preach about the critics judging you, then you turn around and pass judgment on four people you’ve never even met.’

‘Fine,’ Brian burst. ‘Enough, obviously our minds have already been made up for us,’ he decided.

Knowing they had been defeated they all sighed their contracts, everyone frowning.
