11:30PM Update in RED
Well, I'm not one that likes to do a complete change in a forecast that I have remained firm on for 3 or 4 days now, but in this event, all data pointing towards significant snowfall in Philly on Friday has done a unanimous reversal today.

Clouds will increase today. Highs in the low 30s. Cloudy tonight with flurries or a snow shower late Thursday night, lows in the mid 20s. Snow showers possible during the day on Friday with highs in the upper 20s. Little, if any, accumulation is expected. It would take a Northward shift of about 150 miles for our area to see any appreciable snowfall.

The rest of the weekend looks fair and cold, especially Sunday as a clipper swings by to the North. There is the chance of some snow showers or flurries Sunday. If you are headed to the Eagles game, dress VERY warmly, in layers. It will be frigid, with highs around 30, but wind chilles below zero possible.

Again, no big storm for Friday. The Northern most upper s/w is taking way too long to dig South and phase with the upper s/w in the STJ. Oh, what could have been. People in the Southern Mid-Atlantic should see some decent snows out of this, places that usually hardly see any. Take care!

Well, believe it or not, this system is just about out of here. We got a period of very very light snow here in SE PA, leaving nothing more than a solid coating. I'm sure one or two areas will probably report up to an inch, but a good coating seems like the majority in SE Pennsylvania. All in all, the storm behaved as expected with no significant problems. Be careful if you plan on driving tonight. I can assure you, it is very slick out on the roadways. By the way, looks like we might do this all over again next week as two potentially major storms target the area. More on this later. Take care!!
