The storm is now over and skies are mostly sunny with temperatures in the low 30s across the region. All in all, the storm behaved as expected, although perhaps a bit too well behaved. Although totals in Delaware County did fall within the forecasted 4-8 range, may have been better if we went a bit more conservative with totals for our particular area. Unofficially recorded 4.5 inches here. A somewhat wide range of totals fell across Se PA however. Here are a few other selected community totals across SE PA:
Reading 8"
Downingtown 6.5"
Exton 5"
Clifton Heights 4"
Valley Forge 4.5"
Eagleville 5"
The remainder of the day will be windy and cold with highs around freezing. Tonight will be clear and cold with lows in the mid to upper teens. Monday will be mostly sunny with highs in the low to mid 30s. Tuesday will be partly sunny with highs in the mid to upper 30s. Wednesday will be mostly cloudy with highs in the mid 30s. A storm system looks like it will develop off the coast late on Wednesday. *Should* be far enough East to not affect us, but guidance over the past 24 hours has drifted Westward with this feature. Will keep an eye on things and add an update if needed early Monday.
So, a few fair but seasonably cold days upon us through midweek. Another system will likely develop off the coast on Wednesday, but may be too far East to affect us. Will say a chance of flurries or snow showers possible late Wednesday night and Thursday. More details later. Take care.
