The front which brought us the light snow yesterday became stationary to our South, which is nothing unusual for this time of year. Waves of low pressure will develop and ride along the stalled front. Think of it as a conveyor belt of moisture so-to-speak. When these weak waves of low pressure ride up and along the front, the front meanders North and South each time. Tonight as another wave passes along the front, more light snow and flurries will spread across the region, especially to the South and East of the city. A coating to an inch of accumulation will fall in those areas. Looks like more snow or a mix on Saturday as another disturbance heads towards our area from the Great Lakes. More later. Take care!
