Due to lack of time, this will unfortunately have to be fairly brief. As I type this, light snow
is falling across the Delaware Valley and is slowly increasing in intensity. I expect this
trend to continue over the next few hours as a moderate band of precip shift our way.
Temps will remain in the upper 20's through noon. Snow will change to sleet between 2 and
4 this afternoon followed by a change to freezing rain and then just plain rain. I don't see a
*major* problem with icing, but driving will be hazardous
nonetheless. Temps will rise into the
mid 30's by the evening rush. Beleive it or not, once again we will be very warm tomorrow
with highs in the low 50's. Some models were hinting at a change backover to snow, but
with surface temps being so warm, I find this hard to believe. Rain will be heavy tonight
and tomorrow before tapeing to intermittent showers in the afternoon. Expect clearing
tomorrow night and turning colder. Another clipper system possible early next week.
