Somewhat brief update this morning as time is limited. System has moved out of the area, and in it's wake has left partly cloudy skies and breezy conditions. That will be the case the remainder of the night, with lows around 40. Monday will be nice with mostly sunny skies and breezy conditions. Highs around 50. Tuesday will be partly sunny early with thickening clouds late in the day. Highs in the mid 40s.

System for the Wednesday-Thursday time frame looks to remain South of the area, but there is a chance of light snow early Wednesday in response to a) the area of low pressure moving off the NC coast and b) a strong area of jet stream winds passing over us which will create some instability. The 'bulk' of the precip stays in the Southern Mid Atlantic. There may be some light accumulations of snow early Wednesday. More on that later Monday night. Otherwise, partly to mostly cloudy Wednesday with highs in the mid to upper 30s.

Thursday will be partly to mostly cloudy with highs around 40. Friday will be partly cloudy with highs around 40.

Another system may move out of the Southwest over the weekend and try to spread moisture into the region, but guidance is struggling with timing issues at the moment. There is the 'potential' for a moderate snow event over the weekend, but would not bet the barn on it at the moment. That's it for now. Another update around 1AM Tuesday. Take care!
