March 8, 2001
March decides to quiet down in terms of active weather, but a period of snow likely Thursday night into Friday as an upper level low tracks across the region. Yes, it is possible that parts of the area see more accumulations of snow Thursday night into Friday than they saw out of the hyped-to-death Bust of the Century early this week. Other than a bout with some light, nuisance snowfall, the weather will remain quiet until a storm system moves East early next week.
The remainder of the night will be clear with lows in the mid 20s. Thursday will be mostly sunny early with increasing clouds in the afternoon. Highs in the mid to upper 40s. A period of snow is likely Thursday night into Friday with lows in the low 30s. Accumulations from a dusting to an inch across Delaware County. Friday, snow will end early, otherwise mostly cloudy with highs around 40. Saturday, Sunday, and Monday will be partly cloudy with highs in the low 40s, upper 40s, and lower 50s respectively. Next storm system moves in sometime Monday night and looks warm with only rain at this time. More details on that storm later. All in all, a fairly quiet 5 days aside from our nuisance snow Thursday night and Friday morning. Take care.
