Costume: Green bodysuit, trunks, cowl with star-shaped cutout for mouth,
headband
Biography: After his father dies in a gangland slaying, a nameless young
man decides to battle the killers in style. Traveling around the world
studying weaponry, he becomes the master of 1000 weapons, then turns
this
expertise against the mob, "challenging" people to duel with weapons of
their choice.
Comment: There were only five Challenger stories, originating with Mike
Sekowsky and George Kline; the last few were written by Stan Lee.
