P. G. Wodehouse
Pelham Grenville Wodehouse("Plum" to everyone) was born in Guilford England in 1881. He was educated at Dulwich College and soon entered the world of finance. However, he soon became bored with this and he discovered his true calling in writing. Wodehouse has written numerous novels and created many characters, from his Golf Stories to Psmith, Jeeves and Wooster to Blandings Castle, hhis creations will be remembered forever. Pulm said shortly before his death on St. Valentine's Day 1973 that all his ambitions were fulfilled now that he was knighted and a wax replica stood at Madame Tussard's. Here's to you, Plum!
