Welcome to My Humble Abode

I have many interests. Some of them are: reading, horseback riding, writing, hiking, and chat, but college takes up most of my time right now. I am currently enrolled in a B.S. program in Biology, with a concentration in Environmental Science. I am now thinking about pursuing a Master's Degree in Wildlife Conservation after my 4 yrs are up. This summer, I even got to work at an animal park where I interacted with Asiatic Black Bear cubs, Gibbons, Squirrel Monkeys, an elephant, a Siberian tiger cub, ring-tailed lemurs, coatimundis, Macaws, Aldebra tortoises, all your basic farm animals and many many more. It was the experience of a lifetime.

I also love playing the flute and archery. I have been playing the flute for approximately 11 years now. However, since I left high school I must admit that I have become a little rusty. I did play at my Mom's wedding this summer though, so that almost makes up for my lack of attention. ;-) Music is just something I can't live without. Some of my favorite artists are: Live (They are soooooo awesome), No Doubt, Some Green Day, Blues Traveler, Tchaikovsky, Fiona Apple, Smashmouth, Sting, Manheim Steamroller and almost anything Broadway. ;-) I also really love archery. It's a sport that requires skill, strength, and determination. I like the fact that it's a sport that people have participated in throughout history. I also like the fact that I am one of few women who shoots a bow. I have a PSE game sport compound bow.

I know what you are thinking, and no, an animal lover like me does not hunt. I don't disagree with hunting, I merely cannot bring myself to do it. I'd rather shoot targets and go on 3-D shoots. When you shoot 3-D, you get to basically hunt without all the hassle and without actually killing an animal. I find it a great deal of fun.

Well, that's enough about me for now. Maybe someday I'll arrange this in some semblance of order, but for now, it's my rambling page. LOL

I have also recently become very happily involved in a relationship. *BIG smile* His name is Ron and I met him over chat. Yes I know... *GASP* But really and truly there are good people out there that you can meet in chat rooms. Honest! Anyway, I knew him for many many months but we have just recently begun visiting each other and decided that we should stop fighting the inevitible. (wink to Ron. hehe) Life has never been better than it is with him.

I consider South Park one of the most hilarious cartoons since the Simpson's and Animaniacs. My favorite characters are Kenny from South Park and Wakko from the Animaniacs.
