Lost Love
closed bye the door way
paused to stand, his
class he took from
her hand. all who
were watching him
couldn't speak, as a
slight tear ran down
his check and in his mind
memories of how they had
laughed in the sun, he under stood
she had to be free
but it hurt inspite of her goodness to him
now that her eyes have
run suddenly cold, he'll
have no more of her dreams to hold
they watched with awe as the boy
but i never whispered ' i love you into
her ear he put the ring on his finger
then with a kiss he saids goodbye forever
to the he love he would miss. then door opened
the wind began to blow , as they carried
her casket out into the snow.
