Fate
When I woke up this morning
And looked upon this brand new day
I felt something
and i didn't know just what to say
It was this special feeling
and I hope it never parts
This happiness i felt for him
came straight from my heart
This person meant the world to me
and if he only knew
the feelings that i feel for him
I know are honestly true
When he held me in his arms
My heart just wanted to stay that way
and I prayed each night that he would never go away
I loved him more than life itself
I love him more each day
I wish that i could be with him
every night and day
but sometimes everyone has to go
so I wipe my tears away
and pray that if its meant to be
someday maybe he'll come back to me
Until that day
I must move on
but whats the use to wait
My pillow filled with longing tears
If only i could control my fate
I'd make him see that
we were meant to be
But now I just have to wait
