In memorium:
excerpts from Mayor Wabash's eulogy, july 13, 1996
Chapelsnap lost not only an auto expert and former olympic luger, it lost
a friend and pancake lover. In the bible, it says "And the Lord spoketh
to Reginald, and he did reply to the Lord," Today is my morning. Tomorrow
is left without." Those who knew Albert will chuckle fondly because they
can still hear him saying these words. And they are fitting tribute to
the man who, on a dare, once walked two miles; a man who once gave me a half
full container of Fix-A-Flat when I was most in need; a man who cried
only when it rained and smiled only when it hailed; a man who lived; a
man who died; a man who owned a tow truck. Chapelsnap is, indeed, "left
without."
