Guaranda (2,650 metres) is a small town of about 15,000 inhabitants. It is the capital of Bolivar Province. It is quiet, clean, and beautiful. We visited the church and also the monument called El Indio de Guaranda. We also went to La Colina Hotel for a little snack before returning to Ambato. This picture was taken from the monument |
We were pretty excited at the sight of our first llamas on the slopes of the Chimborazo. I tried to get close to them but they began chasing me. Not knowing what could have happened, I decided to go back to my car. |
